Aramasa Lapis Lazuli is part of the "Colors" series by Aramasa Shuzo Brewery (新政酒造) produced with the traditional Kimoto method from Akita Prefecture, Tohoku.
It is brewed using Akita rice, Akita water, and Japan’s oldest No. 6 yeast. The Akita rice used is Miyama Nishiki (美山錦) that are fermented in wooden barrels instead of the usual industry steel tanks, giving it a savoury umami finish.
